For all your public transportation needs in and around Manteca and beyond, this is the site to visit. There are fixed routes and dial-a-ride bus services available within the City of Manteca via Manteca Transit.

 

The audio and tactile maps of the blind and visually impaired

 

One of four transit centers in San Joaquin County is introducing Talk To Me Maps, a service that enables blind and visually impaired passengers to navigate Manteca Transit System and other transit systems within the county. Upon request at the Manteca Transit Center, passengers may obtain a braille or large print map that is capable of being read by talking smart pens, which can help them plan their trip.

Lost and Found

 

We will make every effort to help you retrieve lost items on Manteca Transit; however, we cannot be held responsible for articles left on the bus.

Is there anything left on the bus? Tell the driver if you find it.

We can help if you lose something on a Manteca Transit bus. Please contact the Transit Office at (209) 456-8888 if you lose something. Your route and time on the bus, as well as a description of what you lost, should be included.

During the 30-day period following the bus's arrival, all items found onboard are kept by Manteca Transit.

Reasonable Modifications / Accommodations

 

Following the United States Department of Transportation's Final Rule to 49 CFR Parts 27 and 37, Manteca Transit accommodates passengers with disabilities utilizing its bus services by modifying its operating policies, practices, and procedures accordingly.

 

Among the reasonable modifications are helping passengers insert money into fare boxes, allowing passengers to eat, drink, or take medicine on transit vehicles to avoid medical problems, and permitting passengers to board separately from their mobility devices when the passenger can control the movement of the device. Modifications can be requested in advance or as needed by passengers. In order to request accommodation, passengers do not have to mention Reasonable Modification. If a request for a policy, practice, or procedural modification cannot be met, Manteca Transit staff will explore alternative solutions.
